Puppeteer Herbert Lange is a speech-language
pathologist from Berlin with a background in
stage acting and a great/lifelong passion for
puppets and fairytales. He now resides in Mill
Valley and RUMPELSTILTSKIN is the 4th production
of the Fairytaletheater, established in 2002.
Fairytaletheater has preformed at birthday
parties, schools, libraries and festivals all
over the Bay Area and in Milwaukee.

2:30 PM "It's Alive!" Pre Show Puppet Manipulation Workshop
This free workshop is for the
beginner/intermediate puppeteer &
teacher/librarian. Basic puppet movement &
some advanced techniques that create the illusion
of life. Age: teen to adult, preteen with
parent.
"It's Alive" Workshop Leaders, Lee Armstrong &
Kamela Portuges are co-owners of Images In
Motion, a company that specializes in puppetry for
multimedia. Currently, they are "Matt" & "Marcus"
of RoundTable Pizza fame. Additional credits
include the new "Little Leaps" interactive DVD's
from LeapFrog Toys, the PBS series "Mustard
Pancakes", Henson's "Fraggle Rock", "Being John
Malkovich", etc. Lee and Kamela have Theater
degrees and have taught a variety of puppet
courses at libraries, schools, Regional and
National puppet festivals.
