Opening at the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco:
"Shadows, Masks, and Music: Aspects of the Performing Arts in Asia"
April 23, 2005 through January 22, 2006
The Museum's sampling of artworks and objects related to drama, dance and music. Instruments, masks and shadow puppets highlight both the entertaining and the transformative aspects of performing arts in Asia.
Hours - Tuesdays through Sundays - 10:00 am - 5 pm Thursday evenings until 9:00 pm. Admission $10 adults; $7 Seniors: $6 youths 12-17 and college; free to children under 12 and SFUSD students. Free to members. Located at 200 Larkin Street in San Francisco's Civic Center.
