Barring unforeseen breaking news, the Puppet Co. Playhouse will be featured on CBS Sunday Morning this Sunday, October 17, as part of a story on professional puppetry in America. CBS spent a full day taping performances and events at the Playhouse in May, and another half day in in July. They also covered the Playhouse Grand Opening, when Jane Henson gave the keynote address. As we understand the piece, it will also include the puppetry program at the University of Connecticut, the Center for Puppetry Arts, and Tony Award winning Broadway productions "Avenue Q" and "The Lion King."
CBS Sunday Morning airs from 9 AM to 10:30 PM EST.
