Heads up! A message for SFBAPG members who are traveling to the
National PofA Festival in St. Paul via Northwest Airlines:

Northwest is JUST getting out of bankruptcy and they are in total
disarray. Alan Cook was supposed to fly on Northwest today to set up
the Festival's Legends in Puppetry Exhibit, and he has been jostled
from flight to flight after THREE cancelations. Last night at 12:30
AM he checked the Northwest web site and, much to his shock, he saw
that his 6:30 AM flight had been canceled, but Northwest never sent
him an email notification and never called him!!

If you have a Northwest ticket, be sure to check your flight status
repeatedly. One Northwest phone operator told me that Northwest has
been canceling many, many flights and lots of passengers have been
left stranded.
