Sad news....from the ventriloquist list.

Paul Winchell passed away quietly in his sleep sometime after
going to bed on Thursday night.

The family has not yet released any press information, but I have
been told that an obituary will run in Monday's LA Times.

My information came from Winch's good friend Burt DuBrow, who
- along with Doug Preis, who was in town on a visit - saw Winch
on Thursday. Winch was in good spirits and was not ill.

More information will most likely filter out over the coming days.

Here's to an enormous talent: Paul Winchell.
